Ask a friend if they have an old phone they don't use anymore. I find most people have contracts (with free or cheap handsets) now, so they're often happy to give you an old handset. Just change the sim card over...
Buying a handset on a pay-as-you-go scheme is usually not cheap...

You can't get a pay as you go phone free
but you can get a free pay as you contract
and
a free phone on contract. but not both

you have to b over the age of 18. or you can do it in your mums or dads name. You have to have your passport or driving license. And they credit check you. You should lie and say that you have been working for 3 years and you have been with your bank for more than 3 years. they might ask you for a deposit of £100 but it gets paid back into your account 3 months later.
gudluck. dont get the new sony ericson one, they keep crashing cause they got too much data on them.

GO TO RADIO SHACK FIRST ,YOU HAVE TO BUY THE PHONE AND THEN YOU BUY THE MUNITES , THESE ARE FOR 3 MONTHS AND WHAT EVER YOU DON'T USE IT WILL CARRY OVER TO THE NEXT 3 MONTHS BUT YOU HAVE TO BUY THE NEXT THREE MONTHS.ALSO
