I am asking this question only because I sense this attaction at home -- there are more than one instances where I have noticed my mom trying to lure me. Please do not feel offended by this question -- since I am asking this question only to understand the situation. Thank you.

Some mom's are..this is a psychological phenomenon - very hormonal. Usually happens when the son is in his late teens and when the mom is single, or unhappy in her marriage. There are several documented research artifacts that support this psychological issue. The sexual need is heightened depending on the various issues.
