You got that right. We COULD let the whiny *** dems have power and watch the terrorists take over, then watch them whine because it's too much for them to handle. Then what? No matter what is done, they'll find SOMETHING to whine about. **** em. Hold tight Bush.
Those in the military KNEW what they may have to get into when they signed up. War comes with the territory. If one is too much of a weakling to fight for freedom, then he/she should have NEVER made that commitment to our military. I have the upmost respect for those who take pride in freedom and are willing to die for the cause. **** the ones (in and out of the military) who whine. Go freedom-fighters!

I don't believe I've heard anyone say that nothing good ever comes from war. Throughout history, many good changes have come from war (when the good side wins). In my opinion, while war is unpleasant, it is a necessary evil at times. A complete unwillingness to take on a war would serve a nation very poorly, and I don't believe they would last long. Yes, I am aware of Switzerlands neutrality, but I understand they are smart enough to maintain one heck of a good military.
The discussion of the Iraq war relates to one specific war, not a blanket statement. And many have disagreed with specific wars, based on reasons for, how they were conducted, timing, ect. Each campaign has its own issues and merits. You have two questions going at the same time here.

People are quick to judge what's going on in Iraq because it's unjustified nonsense. People are dying, and there is nothing good coming out of it. There were no WMDs there, installing a puppet government doesn't help anyone, and we're not winning the "war on terror" there because there are plenty of terrorists here in the US all ready. It seems like it's just Bush II trying to finish up his daddy's previous failure there, and using 9/11 to his advantage to do so.

Before this so-called War on terrorism. Your president, George W. Bush, sat down with, not members of the White House, or of his own staff, or of Congress, but with members of his own family and discussed how best can they keep the money that they have amassed over the years, in oil, in their pockets, while guaranteeing that it not only stays in their pockets, but fattens their pockets even more.
Now, if this makes a whole lot of sense to you, then why not hop yourself on a plane right now, and go help him fight his damn war!!!!

Because Bush lied to go to this war! It was a war based on false pretenses! Bush wanted to go and secure oil in Eurasia for profit, and drugs in Afghanistan for the CIA.
You're telling me that you're OK with a president leading our country to war for his family, and other members of his cabinet to profit from it, regardless of those consequences?

Good things don't come from war, because it's dumb. Thousands of people fight and die,all because of a argument.
It's just like getting into a fight with a person, people get hurt for dumb reasons.
