It's more realistic to set reasonable goals first: compete in regional football tournaments in Asia and gauge the standard of play. Only then can progress be measured.

India will probably never take part in a Fifa wc.this is bcoz hardly any people r interested in Indian fb.so if there is no support from d spectaters d Indian players dont get any motivation 2 play.
more over d best players in d country like Bhutia,karthik etc have lost interest in d game & r plannin 2 retire.
