I would like to go visit new places, Croatia included. I think that in the 1990's, Croatia had been known as a dangerous place due to the fightings going on there before it gained it's independence from what was formerly known as Yugoslavia. However, that has been in the past and though there might still be some sort of conflicts going on, it is probably safer than big, jaded cities in the world, where anybody can get mugged or something.

I think that for a country who's just come out of it's own conflicts, it would be a refreshing and charming place to see and has more to offer in terms of service and the cost would not be as limiting as those of other well-known European countries. So, given the chance, I'd love to visit Croatia.
