Tight stone washed jeans with the legs french rolled, ponytails with big ribbons,big hoop earrings, poofy (or tall) bangs, krimped hair, black lyrca pants with bright colored skirt over it, ruffled socks and heels ,sweatshirt with kneck cut out- falls off shoulder on one side, with tank top underneath.. (thats a complete outfit).. wearing two different earrings (like dangly in one ear, and cz stud in other ear). Fashion was FUN back then lol

I had an eighties party and everybody wore bright leggings and short minis with baggy sweatshirts with the necks cut out. I wore a bright orange sweater dress with a white men's button-down shirt tied in a knot at my waist. I also made the white bobby socks that have a lace trim around the edge of them to wear with black pumps straight from the eighties! I found all the stuff at the Salvation Army and it only cost me, like, twenty bucks altogether. Have fun at the party!

look at Madonna when she first came out or Debbie Gibson. They were eighties icons. Its typically big curly sprayed up hair, with stretch paints and a belt that's diagonal.

I can't believe anyone who lived through the 80's would want to relive it. But...here ya go:
bangle bracelets, crimped hair, poofy bangs with enough hair spray to choke a horse, bows in the hair, neon colors, socks with high heels (and then put fishnets on under the socks--ugh), off the shoulder shirts...
basically anything you can think of that's in extremely bad taste...go for it.

Mostly bright colors, big teased up hair, tight jeans that were stone washed, unless you were dressing grundge, and they wore ripped jeans and flannels looking like a bum pretty much.
