Probably because of the same reason if I were to get rich someday, I would still shop at Wal Mart and places like that. The way I look at it, we are all being "ripped off" because things are so expensive -- just so the big corps can make their money. I HATE being ripped off. Maybe you do too.

I read an article once where the author tried to have some money she was owed given to a needy stranger. the people paying got very upset, and couldn't accept the idea.
Our heroine realized that getting the best deal for ourselves has become (or always was) almost a religious principle ,especially in modern industrial cultures.
Prehaps this is due to the emphasis on wealth as security, in the face of large financial outgoings, and no assured future income.
Past societies had far less freedom externally, but the needs and capacity ,to fulfill them were relatively constant.
Unfortunately i still sometimes buy stuff that I need in supermarkets if it's cheaper for instance, even though i feel it's harmful to local shops and suppliers. Mea Culpa.
Prehaps we can at least give some cultural support to the alternatives ,by asking such questions.

the two decision is going to have drastic effects. You mentioned you're incredibly making ends meet. walk down the child aisles at your community shop and take a glance at how plenty a container of one hundred some thing expenses. approximately 20-30 money. interior the 1st month infants circulate by way of approximately 3 hundred diapers approximately 10-12 an afternoon. seeing which you artwork for your self you likely won't gets a commission maternity circulate away till you look for yet another job. as quickly as extra pregnant education will would desire to decelerate. in case you are going to maintain it then mentally practice your self for each thing that incorporates it like very high priced baby care till you have kinfolk which will help. in case you are going to get an sbortion the quicker the extra useful. you're already 2 months alongside and each week that infant develops much extra. better of success

Money works to exchange scarce resources. For instance, cars are expensive because they take a lot of labour and materials to build.
The internet, and information technology generally, does not conform to economists' ideas because the cost of sending or looking up information is negligible once the hardware has been buit and the software designed. One consequence is that it is more effective for businesses to make money out of the advertising power of the internet than to charge users like you and me.
People with economic power try to make money out of restricting access to the internet, e.g. by charging for music downloads. This interferes with individual freedom and means that humankind does not benefit from new technology and the resultant information as much as we could. We need advances both in economic theory and in its political application to address this problem whilst fairly recompensing those who create and provide information services. This is at present an unsolved problem.
Bill Gates recognises this problem by his praiseworthy actions to use his immense wealth to address social and economic problems, particularly in Africa.
In short, I like you desire a free future, but money is an issue as to why our freedom is being limited.

The search on the internet itself is not free. Things which are provided free on it are paid for directly or indirectly.

I feel that any prudent person would prefer not to pay for anything that is readily available at no charge. The money that is saved can be used to buy the things that are not free. It seems very logical to me.

Well, I think it is because you have the world at your fingertips and you KNOW the people with money are out there somewhere! TODAY MIGHT be the day they give it away! I have given up spending time on this, so while YOU'RE at it, let me know if you find something good!!!
LOL
Thanks!
