Every year we get these brown spots, the grapes start to rot, and we get very few grapes. The birds get most of the ones that don't rot. Any ideas? Thanks, :) Arum

It sounds like what Neil Sperry calls, "the most common grape disease". That would be black rot. Spray with a listed fungicide early in the spring. Keep water off the foliage to lessen its spread.

Pick the grapes before they rot.
Use bird netting because the birds will peck one whole in the grape.
The leaves will weaken during grape harvesting season. That is not such a worry.

Fungus. Spray "Daconil" or equivelant. Grape vines are a pain, especially here in the south.
