Hey, if people still wanna pay to hear the old geezers play, 'these old rock stars' might as well get out there and have some fun (like the good old days) and restock the bank account.

Money gone=lots of drugs
now they are broke and sober wondering why they stopped making music, because they coulda been living high for life making music for the rest of there lives, so they need there last bang to get them a sponsor so they can retire again but with a sponsor to support there habit.

It could be because old hippies like us still want to hear "old geezers" like them play REAL music, not this hard-core metal, teeny bopper bubblegum, or (C)rap. Those people still play to sold out venues. Now I will say there are some that should just lay back and remember, I'm not that naive. If you love music, be open-minded. I let my kids listen to what they want and in return, they listen to my stuff, too. And for the record, no, I don't like country! PEACE!

For example SUPERGROUP? All those guys are old, especially Ted Nugent. But they could still rock though.
They want to reclaim the rock scene because emo bands are popping up everywhere.

Some need to come back, that is when music was good. They were not out killing cops and beating their wives. They did not have to have the "F" word as everyother word in there songs and you could understand them.

They need the money, honey. Its going to be funny to see washed up fat hags like Britney Spears, Christina and Simpson attempt comebacks 30 years from now. I'm already laughing my butt off!

Surprisingly, most of them aren't making comebacks, they are just getting publicity again. Most of them never stopped making music, performing or going on tour.
