It took me 6 years to get pregnant with my son, and I know what you are going through. My Husband even had a low sperm count, but My OBGYN put me on clomid, and within a few months I was pregnant. My 2nd child came without a problem, don't let your dr push you into something you may not need. Don't let your doctor scare you, just like me I never thought I would have children now I'm thinking on baby number 3# Do you have a normal period? Have you been checked for Thyroid problems? This was my problem. Keep the faith, and relax do some research on your own, don't leave it up to your doctor, get involved with everything. Ask about Clomid, it helps you ovulate and there is a very slight chance of twins but that's it. I hope this helps, and Good Luck!

well there are ovualtion kits you can try im doing them now and they are great !!! you buy them at the drug store or any shop that sells pregnancy stuff... you buy an ovulation kit for 5 days it comes with 5 peeing cups and 5 tests you do one test a day for 5 days at the same time every day.... it sort of looks like a pregnancy test but for ovualtion.... it comes up positive when you are at your highest and that means you are going to ovulate in 24 - 36 hours so you have sex on the day you get a positive and the day after....its worked for alot of women thats just an easier thing to try so that when you know you are most fertile you can plan a romantic evening and just enjoy the night instead of worrying the WHOLE month about making sure that you and your husband had sex on certain days so goodluck and for the future CONGRATS

I would go and see a fertility specialist if you really want to get pregnant.... There can always be underling things that could be wrong that you would never know about. I am going through almost the same situation and I have had to suck it up and do what has to be done if you want to get pregnant.

Have you charted your ovulation and things like that? I would say that if you have then yes you need to go to a fertility specialist..usually you can find one...if you dont have insurance..that will work with payment. i have a aunt that went through IVF and did payments. You can also try to use Fertilaid..there has been alot of good reviews on it..I'm currentally using it(its only been 2 weeks0 but its increased my sexualy drive and you can get it for men also

Have you checked with your insurance yet to find out if they cover it? Some state do require insurance companies to cover the testing and treatments since it is considered a disability. Are you in one of those states? I'm in MA where it is covered.
If not, ask you doctor's office if they know of any financial assistance.

If you are not financially ready to see a fertility specialist, you should probably wait to have a baby.

i really can't tell you any magical thing to answer your problem ... i know it's really frustating and can even put alot of strain on your relationship if you get to focused on it...i got pregnant on my honeymoon! then miscarried...after that I tried for almost 3 years to get pregnant...finally I give up! we decided we'd try in another year..that's when i got pregnant.... after the birth of my son we wanted another...he's 3 and we have'nt got pregnant yet...so i went on birth control... maybe in a few years we'll try again...i'm tired of stressing over it. they say when you go off of B.C you get pregnant easy... since everything else has failed ...including the basel body temp. method...
i'm 23 also... you've got plenty of time. trying is the fun part...keep it that way!
if you never get pregnant...you could always adopt, some less fortunate baby that was born to a mother who could care less, they are the ones that have them one after the other, with no plan for raising them. just think of the life you could give one of them...a family and plenty of love.
don't worry you won't be childless forever!

My advice is that I believe you have horrible grammar, work on that, and getting a job, then worry about "not got pregnant". I dont want to have to pay your wellfare.
