get a degree in economics, then study law.

if you want to do anything with business, get a business degree.

if you want to help people get a degree in social work, but even people with masters in that make about $45-55 thousand.

To become successful...take a course of study where you need to get licensed. The license restricts others from competing with you.

Doctor, lawyer, ect...

Or learn a trade like plumbing, welding, computers...ect.

Look at Microsofts web page and see who they are hiring, what skills they are looking for.

The end result is that higher education is expensive, look at one book for class, easily over $100.

Don't waste your time...taking Art History....or else you will be working at Mc Donalds!

try double majoring in political science and psychology so that you can go on to law school. (note: with enough AP Credit (about 28 credits) you can at some colleges obtain two bachelors and minor)

Something that trains you for an actual job!!!! Humanities & Liberal Arts are interesting, but don't qualify you for anything.

Figure out the job you want to have and don't buy the bull professors or department administrators tell you - they are defending their own jobs.

Good Luck!!

Something that you know you'd be happy doing 20 years from now, and preferably getting a steady income. Money isn't everything though, do what makes you happy. If you're not sure what it is yet, you'll find out eventually.

Something you enjoy. Sure, engineering and law and medicine PAY well, but do you really want to do something for the next 40 YEARS that you really don't LOVE? If you love something, you will be passionate about it, will want to learn everything about it and it will result in good pay - maybe not doctor pay, but good enough.

Follow your interests and the money will come.
