The game that you call soccer is widely recognised by about 90% of the world as football. The football that the Americans play is only really played in their country, so as long as it is referred to as AMERICAN football then it is easy to differentiate between it and football. Most football fans hate the game being called soccer.

No, i bloody love football though. You know, the sport with two teams of 11 players each, two goals and one ROUND ball which you put in the goal and not over it. You know the one. The game that they DON'T call soccer UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

I don't like the term 'soccer', the whole of the world minus USA knows it as 'football'.
Which makes sense, seeing as you play the game with your feet and a ball.

I like football, it's the world's favourite sport and is certainly not boring.

I hate the term 'soccer'. It is known as football in just virtually every country in the world EXCEPT the USA, where they play that stupid game of theirs.
