I'm 5 ft. Everyone looks down on me! I can't reach my kitchen cupboards without standing on a chair! Clothes don't fit me properly! Children are bigger than me! Are you small, or tall?

I am 5 ft 5ins, and so medium height for a woman, and I know I am lucky in that.
But I'm sure it can't be that bad being 5 inches shorter - it's only five inches!!!
I feel I want to think of some positive things to help - so here goes:
Its just my opinion but I think it is easier for a woman to be short in height than too tall.
You can blend in to the background if you want to - bigger people can't.
You can choose to wear high heels and bright coloured cothes if you want to stand out.
Men are often very protective of women who aren't very tall - you could use thaht to your advantage!!
Best of all - women who are short in height very often look YOUNGER than bigger women.
Please try to think positive. You're healthy and that's what matters. Use your good sense of humour to get you through.

I am 5 feet tall 0 inches. My daughter is now taller than me & my son will be soon. We are petite people & sometimes it's a good thing & sometimes it's a bad thing. Tall people have advantages & disadvantages too. I used to work in a lab where the machine was right at my height. Tall coworkers had to stoop or bend while working on this machine & by the end of the day they had sore backs. The not being able to reach things can be bothersome & especially finding clothes to fit is the pits but God gifted me with other things & I try to concentrate on those.

I know how you feel. I am exactly 5 ft. I have to ask my husband to pass me down things from cupboards and some 12 year olds are bigger than me. To be honest though, I actually like my size. I can't imagine being any taller. The only problem I have is buying trousers to fit my legs. There are only certain shops that sell different leg sizes, otherwise they are all just a standard size. Other than that, I'm happy just the way I am.

I'm 5 ft 9. Sometimes I have problems to like clothes are too short and I feel like a giant next to some people. Anyway don't worry and be confident, height doesn't matter.
