We have until monday to decide if we will take an extended warranty on our new (old) 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport....money is tight....what to do ?

Most extended warranty prices are negotiable.. if your financing the vehicle, the bank or credit union, etc may offer a warranty as well.. check around. The price of the warranty may also be financed with the vehicle as well.. Also decide with coverage you want.. most ext. warranties have three levels .. with the lowest level covering only the power train.. bare in mind repair jobs can be expensive..I have seen transmission jobs on certain vehicles go over $2000.. I vote for the warranty.. its a difficult task to pay for a vehicle when its sitting broke in your driveway...

Ask yourself, have I had any troubles with this vehicle? If so, what types. In general, most extended warranties are not worth the cost.
