As a gift for our first year anniversary, I took my wife to Disney World, because she had never been. It depends on your cash flow as to what you should do for anniversary. The occasion should be more special than looking for an expensive gift.

For my one year anniversary, I wrote my sweetheart a book! Yep. 12 chapters, one for every month. I described the highlights, and what I learned, and loved, about him that month. I was really cash strapped at the time, and he totally loved the effort!
