Heck no. Cena might be flashy, but his wrestling skills are still not fully developed. In my opinion, it's Bruno Sammartino.

Cena was an entertaining wrestler and an entertaining champion but he was certainly not the best of the champions we have seen over the past decades. According to me the best are as follows:
HBK Shawn Michaels
HHH Hunter Hearst Helmsley
The Dead Man Undertaker
Drink Bear Fock Fear Stone Cold Steve Austin
Latino Heat Eddie Gurrero
The Animal Dave Batista
And.... The Rabid Wolverine Chris Benoit
Cena certainly has a long way to go... but I am sure by the time my kids growup he would definitely be called a True Champion

Depends on what you call "best". As far as WRESTLING goes, Cena is FAR from the best. If anything, John Cena is THIS generation's Hulk Hogan, like Steve Austin was the "Hogan" of the Attitude Era. The two best WRESTLERS to hold the title in recent years was Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero (RIP)
Both of those guys busted *** in almost EVERY wrestling promotion in this country. WCW,ECW,WWE and still taking bookings on the independents. When Eddie and Chris won their respective titles, even the boys in the locker room had tears in their eyes because both men DESERVED to wear those belts.
All respect to Cena for pulling in the casual fans again, but he has a LONG LONG way to go before he can be called a TRUE champion. We have 2 TRUE champs now, Rey Mysterio and the GREATEST wrestler to never hold a major title until now...the WHOLE FN SHOW....(say it with me peoples) ROB.....VAN......DAM! After 16 years in the business and sacrificing himself on the Altar of Wrestling, the man gets what he DESERVES.

I'm a John Cena fan,but I have to say that I believe
the best champion ever is Brett Hart. I've seen Hart win
matches where it seemed no humanly way to win.

I think John Cena is the best champion cause he wont lay down for no one lik JBL did with the world title.

John Cena is a great entertainer that all. He can fight, but he can't wrestle. So no he is not the best champ ever in fact, I don't think he should ever be the champ of anything.

Of course not. He isn't even close to most of the champions of the past. If fact, he is damn near the worse champion ever.
