Every baby is different, but here are some general guidelines. Most babies will have their final eye color by 6 months, and the *vast* majority by 1 year. Some babies' eyes will still change after the first birthday. And some people's eyes change color between related colors (blue and gray, for instance) even in young adulthood.

On average, by the time a baby reaches 9 months of age, his eyes will change (if they're going to). They usually start at about 6 months. This isn't ALWAYS true...like the previous poster said, her eyes changed after she was a year old. Most babies eyes change earlier than that, though.

all 4 of my kids were born with baby blue eyes and there ages 7 soon be 8 - 5 -3 and 17 months and they have the same color as when they were born

my baby was born with blue eyes and his doctor told us it can take up to 1 year. Normally babies have their set eye color by their first birthday. It may only take a few months, or their eyes may not change at all.

Anytime between birth and 6 months. At 6 months, the pigment that determines eye color is already there.

It depends on what color they are. You can usually tell for sure by a year old. However, I couldn't tell that my son was going to have green eyes until after he had turned 2

They usually get their true eye color at about 3 months.

seems like around 3 to 6 mths...my son was born with blue eyes (which i think most babies are)...then they changed to brown...which is my hubbys eye color.

i dont think it is the same for every baby, it just depends. my eyes changed after i was a year old.
