First, you have to ask yourself what you plan to do with it. If you only plan to do word processing and web browsing, then a $800 PC from Dell is good enough. If you want to play games at max settings, then you might have to go with a $3,000 Alieanware PC. If playing games, the video card is the most important part. A close 2nd is the CPU and memory.
