The reason most countries don't use nukes is because they don't want to be nuked in return.
Never before in history has nuclear weapons been owned by someone willing to accept destruction for using them.
Iran has implied they will use nukes to destroy Israel and the U.S., and they obviously don't care about the consequences.

To the poster above me: Iran should not have nukes for the same reason children should not be allowed access to hand grenades.
Any country that says Israel must be destroyed has forfitted the right to nuclear weapons.

The leader of Iran is a known terrorist, He had in the 1970's kidnapped and killed Americans. He is Boo Koo Dinky Dow for sure. He is helping the alqueda now, If he has the potential to get nukes, we will be in trouble.

Personally, I think that nothing other then Iran having a new source of energy will happen. I think the US is just paranoid and it dragging everyone else into their worries.

Although they talk tough they know we can knock them off the face of the earth with a launch of our nuclear sub based missiles within an hour so whatever they say, they know they would all cease to exist immediately if they did anything so stupid as a launch on Israel. So I think it would be business as usual really as far as they are concerned. And we have defensive capabilities far beyond what is publicly stated.

Nah, if it's nuclear energy, like they say-- it'll all be legit.
If, however, they pursue nuclear technology with the intent to make weapons, as many believe, then probably will use them on Israel and launch a WWIII.

If the program is verifiable then Iran can have a nuclear program; if not others will make sure Iran pose no danger - kaboom!!

Incidentally the only country to have used a nuclear weapon against another nation.

They will use them to make cous cous? Duh.
And to the person who thinks we are paranoid...Iran has huge oil reserves, they don't need nuclear energy. What they are doing is is uranium enrichment which makes weapons grade uranium and plutonium. I guess Hitler wanted his military to have really cool parades, that's all?

They will give a nuke to the taliban who will use it in israel or the USA and we will not have any proof or have a target to respond to except invade the whole world.
