Sun always clears mine up. If it's not sunny out then try the sunbeds, but only for a minimum amount of time and remember to put sun cream on before hand.
exfoliation scrubs are good too(Clean and Clear) and Multi vitamins.
try changing something in your diet, I find that greasy foods give me spots, but I only started getting a spotty back when I started having the contraceptive pill injection! There may be something that's causing it.
Make sure you shower as soon as possible after you have done any exercise that may cause a sweaty back. Use a hard loafer too.

Saw this program on C4 (You are what you eat) once where they said it has something to do with your diet. It's your bodys way of saying you are doing too much of something bad (can't remember whether it was fats or carbohydrates/sugars) and if that is so any amount of products won't stop it from coming back. You need to tackle the cause, not the symptoms. Check out C4 website or see a dietritian.

If it is skin discoloration then put "Sensual Blue" on your back right after a shower(Make sure not to dry your back before putting it on). Leave it on for five hours. Then remove. Do the same thing again the next day. Then repeat the steps above five weeks after. This real works. My sister had the same problem.

If you exfoliate these areas 2-3 times a week, this will help, you don't need to buy anything just add a bit of sea salt to your body wash, you'll see results within a week

Use an exfoliator, this gets rid of all the grime, dead skin and bacteria that leads to spots. Apricot kernal ones are good

A good dollop of Bird's custard does the trick nicely, apply daily and to save money you can serve steamed pudding with custard to the kiddies and use the leftovers!
