Serious stuff. Fraud is a crime and holds a prison sentence. Throw yourself at the mercy of the law and tell the truth. Go to the CAB now. Do not tell any untruths and do everything they say. Be as helpful and as sorry as you can. They may have mercy, but you will have to pay them back. The easier you make it for them the better the outcome.

it depends on the benefit you were sneaky with. They will initially ask for all of it back, but if you can't afford it you have to come to a payment agreement. We have had over payments of benefits, but never fraudulently claimed. If you don't stick to the payment agreement they will put you in jail. Very serious.......

difficult one this my mate got done for this she had all her money stopped apart from her child benefit (uk) and she still had to find a way of paying back what she,d took from them hope this was of some help?
