Check the roots to see that they are not crossing over each other. Cut the one on top if you find it doing that because they will strangle each other and weaken the tree. Fertilize after blooming season (soon).

moist slighty acid soils is the prefered plant the tree in spring
it will flower when it has reached 3 ft tall
cover the fleshy roots with moist peat and stake the plant
