What do you mean ? I play the alto sax .
ok first you blow threw the mouth piece(your mouth has to be in a certain formation though) and then you press the keys down on the note that you want .................................................. If you take lessons they'll teach you how to play it.(not that hard at all)

you blow into the mouth peice and the air vibrates against the the reed. Then you move your fingers to cover certin holes producing the note you want. But to learn, you'd have to take lessons just like with any insturment.
