FAQ means Frequently Asked Question. This is to prevent people from asking same questions again and again directly to the somewhat webmaster or owner of the websites. So that, they can answer more vital questions or do more important thing than answering repeated questions again and again.

You can find help faster with FAQ than if you ask the webmaster itself. And yeah, like rafeyqadri said, you can email the whoever responsible if your answer is not listed in the FAQ.

-n_n- I hope that helps hehehe

FAQ is an acronym for Frequently Asked Questions. A FAQ page has answers to the questions most asked about the present website or its products and/or services. These questions and answers are posted for many reasons, but mainly to: 1. Allow the user to look up questions on their own without having to worry about waiting on a reply to come back from the host site. 2. Ease some of the workload from support personnel. If you had a website that sold T-shirts, then consumers would wonder what sizes and colors you have available, what your return policy is, or they may have technical issues with the site like, “How do I change quantities of items in my shopping cart?” These small, yet essential, types of questions are usually what are listed on a FAQ page.
Hope this helps.
