actually, no. this has never happened to me, I actually died after I was born and revived, so not all my brain cells are functioning, that's probably why I am lefthanded too

My Mum nearly died when giving birth to me. She does not believe in God. Does not believe in any religion really. Is very shy and pretty much a normal basic loving Mum. Brought up on a farm and never worked, got married had two kids... normal normal normal... But as I said when she gave birth to me she was on the way out - lost a LOT of blood, very very ill girl she was. Saw a light at the end of "a tunnel". Said that she couldnt believe how welcoming and comforting this seemed. But she didn't want to "go?" to it at that time. Then next thing she new there were was a doctor running around looking like he had **** himself worried that his patient was going to/nearly died. Being the athiest that she is and brought up very naive and on a farm etc etc... Well this experience came from someone who wouldn't even know HOW to spin BULLSHIT less alone have any knowledge of how, or need, to tell a good story!!! So, yes my Mum had a near death experience. So I 100 per cent believe in experiences such as this, after having the pleasure of knowing my Mother.

Yeah, I had one before too. All I remember was feeling peace, and no one reallyspoke to me the way we discern speech, it was more like a telepathic reassurance that everything was going to be okay and I had to go back. I saw a mulit-colored, spinning tunnel that balls of light and energy seemed to zip through, and yes, there was a great light ahead, but I never made it there. I was jolted back to my body in an electrical-like current before I could make the ascenscion.

Well....i have'nt had any near-death experiences as of lately but at the age of 16 back in the Summer of 1973 i was struck by a car while riding my bicycle. I'm 49 years of age now but i remember the near-tragic event as if it happened just yesterday.
I was dropped off at an area bike shop, my Huffy silver & green 3-speed bike was in the shop for a basic tuneup. I was sure glad to be picking it up. I've been an avid bicyclist most of my life so being without my bike for 3 days during the Summer was a real bummer. I pay for the repairs & I take off going as fast as a kid could go on a Huffy 3-speed.
I'm flying down the roadway on one of Madison's busiest (posted speed limit=35mph) 6-lane streets. I'm passing a shopping center & just a few feet in front of me a young teen driver turns right in front of me. In a state of panic i push back on the pedals to apply the brake...nothing there...the brakes are on the handle bars.....in the next few seconds i'm striking the turning car by the right front wheel.....both me & my bicycle go flying over the hood of the turning car.....i see my bike smash against the front end of a vehile exiting the parking lot....my head hits the pavement......the world around me goes dark & all i can see is this bright light & my body drifting upwards towards it. I was'nt afraid nor did i look back & see my body lying lifeless on the pavement...i just drifted peacefully upwards towards this bright warm light that just seemed to be all around me. I heard no voices or sounds....just this bright warm light all around me......& then suddenly i was drifting back downwards. I just woke up all of a sudden & tried to push myself up off the pavement. There were lots of people standing all around looking & a cheer rang out when i awoke. I was gone somewhere....i know not where....for almost 20 minutes, one of the paramedics said they thought they lost me.
This experience has taught me that death is nothing for any of us to fear & for some reason, because of this incident, i believe that death is not the end of us but some type of new beginning.

My wife had a similar experience during the course of recovery from a stroke. She was greeted at some sort of threshold where her four deceased grandparents were seated. She said that they were chatting among themselves and not really talking to her. But her deceased father then greeted her and talked to her. He told her that it wasn't her time that she need to take care of her family. Her turned her back around. She wanted to go through. She said it was a very real and vivid experience.

Yes, once, but it was nothing. I mean like it was before you were born. Nothing. No light, no dark, no consciousness, no unconsciousness, no thoughts, etc. Death is pretty boring.
How could you not know if it was a near death experience? What kind of chemistry are you doing??

One time, I thought I had died. I may have, a little. What happened to me was that it was dark and then when I "came to" it was like I was living my life in reverse. Knowing everything that was going to happen and having to live it all again. I've been a much nicer person since then.

Yes, a few months after my father died I had a medical emergency my self and I saw my father telling me to go back and not to follow him. When I opened my eyes I was in a hospital really scared and confused.
