From the merchant side, PayPal doesn't "suck", it is just one of many options for processing payments. Depending on your situation, it may or may not be competitive from a cost standpoint. One thing for sure - it is very easy to use. On the downside, many of your merchant rights are negated by working through PayPal instead of directly through a merchant processor. Find a reputable merchant processor to do a comparison for you and be very vigilant.

They are a legitimate business that adds security to Internet transaction of funds. While there will be people who don't like the rates they charge, they do state what those rates are up front for everyone to see. However, due to their popularity and their being an Internet-based financial institution, they are subject to numerous spam and fraud attempts.

Not at all. By keeping your paypal account empty you can get three days free credit as this is the time between purchase and withdrawal of funds from yout bank account

Nope, I think it's great, but then again, almost everything I buy and sell is through paypal. I like that it goes directly from my account without having to type in all those pesky numbers and whatnot.

I have used Pay pal almost since the day it was born and never had an issue.
I have heard complaints but personally never had a single problem.

never had a problem with paypal! they helped return $ on serveral occasions with me when the product never came or was not what was stated

no it is the safest way to pay for anything then you have protection and can get your money back
