I can type the whole character but not the strokes.
eg. "十" character has 2 strokes & I need to type them one bye one like the horizontal first & then the vertical stroke.

I have never seen a program that allows that.

My brother's girlfriend is Chinese. I've never seen it, but here is how he described it: You type the Chinese words phoenetically in English characters. Then they have a bit of software that translates the English characters to Chinese.

butut just download the chinese language plugins & u wont need to do n y thing
what ever u"ll type will automatically convert into chinese language
try any chinese sites u"ll find there or u can also search for language convert software

there must be special keyboard to type different languages...or there may be some setting in the existing keyboard...

You type " ㄍ ㄨ ㄣ V " in order and you can fine Chinese character "丨".
And then,you type "一"and you can fine Chinese character " 一 ".
