You CAN'T change anyone. People can only change themselves. You aren't being very specific though......?

the way to get people to change is to show them the options (CHOICES) and then give them reasons to act the way you want them to act (CONSEQUENCES).

For instance if I want my roomate to not play the music really loud and not have parties at my apts, then I let the roomate know the options. (A) Have get togethers when I'm not around. (B) Run the idea past me. (C) Get headphones. (D) Play music out side. (E) Reduce the Bass.

THen I explain why: I work alot. I spend very little time at home. So if when I"m home I don't get to relax then I get bitchy. Also if the neighboors here loud music then they call the cops. Not to mention the fact that we could get evicted.

See what I mean. The consequences should be more about the result and how it affects them vs the idea of them "getting in trouble".

You can use behaviour theories, but you have to be specific about what do you want to change.

It's something very difficult, and your question is too general, if it's something related with work maybe you should talk to them, show them that by changing bad behavior they will do best at work.

To be quite honest with you, you can't. One's behavior is gained over a period of time ~ more like experience.

If one is experienced in something, no matter how much you whine - you can't change them.

you can't. If it is a work related thing I would start to look for a new job. If it is something at home with a parent I would talk it out thats family. Good luck

Normally you can't, but how about to change your self, perhaps the other person will change too. To have an answer, you ought to be more specific.
