Well it all depends on what u like.... I live in the city and would die to live in a place like your. Where there is no cars, no buildings, very little people.
Here we have no time for anything. Very one is out to prove they are the best. Its a rat race here.
I think there are a few bad aspects in living in a village too. But I would love to have your life...

I grew up in suburbia. I now live in a rural area. Last weekend I attended a wedding in Long Island. The logistics in getting to the site left my head spinning & my wallet empty. I would have a VERY difficult time adjusting to living in an area where there are so many people elbow room means going to the bathroom to be alone. So, heck yeah, it is way better to live in a rural area than a big city.

Different people need different environments.
Some people need the fast paced life that comes with large cities. Other people enjoy the solitude of the country life.
Personally, I enjoy living close to a metropolitan area - but not in it. I have easy access to everything the city has to offer, but I'm only subjected to it when I decide to go to it.

It doesn't matter what other people think. If you're happy there that's all that matters. Personally I like small town life.
