How many stars
The universe is full of stars, arranged in enormous groups called galaxies. Our Sun is one star among 100 billion in the Milky Way Galaxy. And there are about 100 billion galaxies in the universe, each with a comparable number of stars.
With some simple math, we can figure out the total number of stars in the universe:
(100 billion stars/galaxy) x (100 billion galaxies) = (100 x 10^9) x (100 x 10^9) = 10^22 stars
How many is that? The number of stars in the universe is more than the number of grains of sand on all the beaches of the entire Earth! More stars than there are grains of sand! Think about that.

It is impossible to know the no. of stars in the universe now cuz stars died and new stars are born. Even if u can count the no. of stars in the sky, u would only get the no. of stars that are in the sky million of years ago due to the speed of light and the time taken for the light from the stars to reach us.

I think Deus_Ex_Machina has given the answer. Right now we do not know how many billions or zillions of stars in the universe. There might be millions or billions of galaxy in the universe and each galaxy might harbor billions of stars so, you can imagine that.

Well, there are estimated to be 200 billion stars in our own Milky Way galaxy and there are thought to be 200 billion galaxies in our universe, then there are about 40 trillion stars in our universe.

Depends on your view of the universe. If you believe its infinite, then theres infinite stars, if you believe its limited then there will be a limited number of stars. Its incalcuable at the moment though and probably always will be.

The other day, a little greyish bug resting on my knee told me this: "There are more stars in the sky, and behind the sky, than there are little greyish bugs like me, every summer, in every country." That sure makes a lot of stars (and a lot of greyish bugs, too.)

there are infinite no.of stars in this universe, grouped inside the infinite galaxies.
infinte no.of stars are born every sec. in the universe in the gas clouds. n many are dying into dead stars, such as, black hole, white dwarf etc. so, its really uncountable.
