They are about the size of a lady bug with deep red tear shaped bodies. I notice the eggs plastered to the outside of my doors and cement walls. Again, they are outside the home. When I sprayed a group of eggs, I could see all thier little legs unfold from under thier bodies as the ran. From what I read, the are much larger the spider mites. The are not attached to any plants.

sounds like they could be either red lily beetle or red spider mite, if they are lily beetle then they are only a pest to some of your plants, if they are red spider mite they are no real pest to anything.
