Yes. Micheal has snapped his anterior cruciate ligament in his knee. He will have an operation next week and will probably miss the entire 2006/7 Premier League Season. He will probably have to see Dr Steadman in the USA as he is the leading expert on this type of injury. England will not win the World Cup without him!

Absolutely. It's out in the newspapers. Too bad for England. Owen must be very sad.

his knee is twisted. a similar injury kept me out of rugby for 8 months, but i didnt have access to the physios and doctors he will have. he has a bad injury to anterior cruciate ligaments in his right knee which run across the knee under the knee cap. the problem is it doesnt heal well without surgery, so he wont be back for at least 5 months.

no....he tore his ACL in his knee even worse. He wont be able to play for the rest of the world cup and he wont be able to return to club play until 2007. Very sad indeed because I am a huge England fan.

Yes he has damaged his cruciate ligament and will be out of football for 7 months. He also won't be able to play keepy-uppy with watermelons in ASDA for some time.
