It depends on the person!
Some people are still racists, some aren't.
I know racial discrimination doesn't exist in me.

There are tensions but nothing as evident as in some parts of the US against Mexicans. In overall there is no racial discrimination here. I'm a brown skinned immigrant who speaks a heavily accented English and I'm succeeding as a professional and the only hurdles I've had to overcome are the ones the other people struggle with: being competent, keeping myself up to date, being dependable, keeping myself accountable, paying taxes, paying fines, cursing whenever I get traffic tickets, thinking twice before smiling at my neighbour's wife, etc.

Racism will always exist. Even if all humans were the same race, if we all were the same weight and height, if everyone spoke the same language and had the same religion we would still find some difference with which to call out 'the other'. In Gulliver's Travels the war in Lilliput was over which end of the egg should be cracked opened. That's human nature and that's our curse. To survive we must fight our nature and try to get along.

All over the world racial discrimination exists and is a continuing problem, only by becoming aware of the equality of all humans can we begin to replace discrimination with universal love for one another.

Unfortunately yes, and on every continent of the world. Read about what is going on in Darfur, Sudan and St. Petersburg, Russia and all over the US and Middle East. It's overwhelming.

Yes it still exists - Unfortunately people have not overcome their fear of what is different - Generally speaking. It's sad too, because you miss a lot of wonderful experiences living life by face value.

Yes ! It seems human beings need to feel better then somebody else to achieve self worth, so they pick people that are obviously different. It seems pretty stupid, but so many people have grown up in bad situations and have very little self-worth and that's how they deal, very sad.
