nowadays most of the Indian children prefer to go to America for further studies

I would not say that going abroad for higher studies is not useful.But what I am against is everyone goes there to study and then ends up with a good job and doesnt want to return jus for the sake of money, keeping all the sentiments and relationships with ppl back home aside...
I would say ..Go there study, get international exposure and learn new things and come back and live with your family. I know so many movies n other things have already preached this...But still who cares...All they want is money money money....
In my case I studied abroad and lived there for 3 years and then quit my job and everything and came back home for good and found a decent job , living with my family...And I would not give up this even for 100,000$....

Two reasons:
!) Status symbol. Some employers (and parents) think that an overseas eduation (England & USA on top of list, and in that order) gives you more chances to find a job back home (and impresses your neighbours).
2) If you don't want to work "back home" but elsewhere, the above is certainly true. Look at Canada, where non-Candadian degrees don't get you a job in what you have studied for years!

Bottomline....the guys who are standing in the queue at US emabssy for student visas know only about bright side of US.... they don't have a clue about what they are running after.... what struggle lies ahead of them... and once they go thru the struggle, they find it hard to let go... ...
life abroad gives better access / affordability to modern amenities and gadgets than in India. Higher studies in US is a gateway to this life ...early in life. For a majority of Indians, career growh is a lot better in India whereas monetary benefits are higher in US. Why most people want to go to US is because their seniors went there or their elder cousins are there.......

It may not be really necessary but there are adavantages to studying abroad as well as disadvantages.
