Yes he does..... They obviously didn't put wheels on the piano, so they did not give him all the tools required for his job nor did they specify beforehand that he would be required to provide them for himself.

Knowall... except the difference between 'threw' and 'through'; where the hell to put an apostrophe (some innovative ideas there but alas nothing right); and the correct spelling of 'dismissal'..... also the question is merely a rehash of the best visual joke in Woody Allen's film 'Take The Money And Run'. 3 out of 10 - could do better....

That's like Woody Allen in Take The Money And Run - he was the cellist in a marching band. Very silly.

...hmmm.. that would be like hiring a guy in a wheelchair for a job that requires climbing ladders and then firing him cause he can't do his job.
The question is whether the employer is being unfair by knowingly employing someone who isn't fit for the task and dismissing him for that, or whether the employee's being unreasonable for accepting a job which he knows he can't do.
And yes, I am a bored office worker.

If medical opinion is that you are not fit for your job then they can dismiss you because you are no longer capable of fulfilling duties outlined in your Job Description. However, if this was a casual agreement or unpaid job it may be a different case.
