i dont claim to know anything, BUT if we were made in Gods creation, why are there no 'modern' man fossils? skulls? How come neathandral ape/man bones only are found, no human fossils were found in the begining of man searching for proof (of?)
It was sea life and reptiles/ airborne cratures and the rest are mainly myhological..did you ever see apple trees amongst dinosaur documentaries?
I'm so going to get slated for this arent I.I believe it was EVOLUTION.
No human was just plonked upon earth.
I like it black and white, no sugar.
Concrete evidence versus belief.
thats what i believe. But i dont ram it down anyones throat. its MY opinion, whats yours?

re\;You're horribly wrong there.
No, Nobody is right or wrong
and dinosaurs were the result of bacteria, plankton and other such organsism evoluting, becasue of weather change and wetness/dryness in simplets terms. No God in My world, sorry. We would all be at peace and not lose babies, family and have nasty buggers about like rapist and such, they too are evolution from genetic traits passed on with evolution
*gets off PERSONAL soap box of my OWN beliefs*

i believe in god, but not in the typical biblical sense. I do think that faith in god, or religion as it is called has been warped and twisted to benefit man in controlling and suppressing fellow man, and that maybe everything in the bible may not be a true recollection of the past.
However, i find some truth in the notion of natural evolution, and maybe think that some things have been taken from the truth of our history. Will we ever know the truth???

Interesting responses. Let me throw my two cents in here. Those who believe there is no God because our world is not perfect are missing a small part of the puzzle. We are each given a free will and therefore God has given you the right not to believe. I can't see air, but I believe it's there. I can't see love nor have any scientific evidence of it, but I believe it exists. As for the "theory of evolution", let's just leave it at that. It is a theory has not nor will ever be proven as fact. Some claim animals crawled from the sea to live on land and others claim animals came from land to live in the sea? Can't be both ways. I also believe that "evolution" is a blanket to cover up millions of adaptations. Man himself has adapted to what ever environment he lives in. This in no way means man has evolved from one creature into another. I guess the problem I have with evolutionists is their fear of God. They want their "theory" taught in school, but ignore the possibility that someone has the same right to believe what they want. On the other hand, the so-called Christians are afraid of the evolutionist. In the grand scheme of things does it make any difference who is right or who is wrong? There are more important issues our society must learn to deal with such as teenage drug use. Spend more raising your children than raising questions about evolution.

Apologists for creationism have it very, very easy. Every single problem or argument that crops up against their ideas is simply dismismissed by the phrase "God made it so". Theose of us, and that is MOST of us, who accept Evolution as gospel (ha ha) do not have that luxury. Scientific deduction is an on-going permanent process that is always changing through reaserch and investigation, but religion is set in stone and feels no need to explain and prove anything it says
Creationism is medieval aged piffle, because it cannot defend it self it any other way than to put EVERYTHING down to the will of an entity that it cannot produce evidence of. If you ask for evidence of God, you are told to look around you...that is evidence only of what is around you, not of how it arrived there!
Evolution does not attempt to answer everything, nor does it seek to. It recognises that there are things that current scientific knowledge cannot explain precisely. This is why it is a million time smore credible than creationism, which claims to have the answer to absolutely everything without the requirement of proving that.

Evolution, not god. I will believe in god if someone has proof for him existing - but so far ive not heard any convincing arguments that have come from anyone other than those wearing rose tinted spectacles. For me personally, believing in god would be like believing in santa or the tooth fairy - they are far fetched myths that we all know don't really exist! But at least Santa and the Tooth Fairy are fun!!
I am not one to feel i need a strong belief system to complete my life, I personally feel I am stronger than that. Which is not to say that i don't live by the basic principles, such not stealing etc. But really i have no choice as these are embedded in law now! Thats just my belief, which i am entitled to.

What makes you think that fossils of man haven't been found? You're horribly wrong there... ancient human remains are found DAILY. Did you know that there has NEVER been an entire skeleton of a "neanderthal" or any other form of a "missing link" discovered? Only skulls (which are just assumed to be pre-human) And that is CONCRETE fact. Evolution is still a philosophy, just as much so as any religion. There is no more "concrete fact" to back it as there is for creation.

Let's go beyond the evolution
My theory is this
0+0=0
Zero plus zero is zero. This is a mathimatical fact
Meaning, nothing creates nothing
But if something came then that is an EFFECT
To every effect there is a CAUSE
To every cause there is a REASON
Reason is in the mind of the THINKER

When God created the whole universe, he, or whatever it's god, wasn't playing dice, or any sort of games in the universe.
There's a plan for the creation, this plan starts with the creatures of water, and go higher.
There's a line in this plan, that makes all the creatures have the same start units.
So, it's GOD and EVOLUTION in certain rules.

Why God is associated to Evolution?
Is it so important determine who made who? (ACDC)
Let it go. We have evolution. We will born and die. After death is something that you only can discover when you arrive there;
Lets focus on more important things: Learn to have our mind free. Understand things based on facts (even if sometimes theories are just sofisms) without religion.
Behavior, Ethics, Religion are only mythical boudries where we believe we must stop.
My choice to best act goes to: Learn, Read, Keep your mind free. Search something that you can fix/solve/understand/share.
Shalom!
Es ist keine compliziert!

I agree, if the world is only a few thousand years old, where did the dinosaurs fit in. I actually heard one man saying that the fossils of dinosaurs were planted by the scientists! how paranoid is that?

God made us all, both living and non-living organisms. the theory of evolution tells that human came or its ancestors were monkeys or primates, but my question is; where did the monkeys and dinosaurs came from? who made them?. I think GOD is the answer only GOD is the one who is empowered to do such things.....
