I thought for sure the movie was called Shipwreck but I can't find anything anywhere online about it. The movie is from the 80's and is about people that go on a ship then run in to really bad weather. I don't remember a whole lot about it but I remember they kept singing thing song, it went something like.........hey hey up to *something* hey hey up to *something* hey hey up to *something* early in the morning, what would you do with a ....that's about all I remember but hey maybe someone will remember. Where you see *something* above I don't know what that word is. Anyway thanks for reading :-)

Could it be "The Pirate Movie"? It was made in '82 and based on The Pirate of Penzance.

I've been looking for it, too. I'm pretty sure it was called "Shipwrecked" also. It was a family that took a reporter on a world sailing trip, a young black boy snuck on the boat and was discovered once they were out. They crashed on some island and discovered an old cabin, they were chased by a bear down the beach, etc. Wish we could find it...

It is called shipwreck and it's from 1978. I've been looking for it too and just found out on you tube.

The song's a rather common seaman's chanty: Hey, ho, and up she rises (etc) early in the morning. (It's the "What do you do with a drunken sailor" chorus.) It's found in a lot of films involving ships - sorry I couldn't be more help.
