Do you think they care? Republicans are greedy, self-righteous, arrogant bastards who only care about their rich, corporate buddies, their superior morality, and money! They believe the rich are important and the rest of us should just obey their every demand, because they know what is best. Hope for a Democratic victory this election in both houses of Congress, so we restore common-sense and concern for the average Joe.

Let's look at what you said.

-what kind of man can kill 50000 people (in Iraq) in order to take oil?

I'm not going to even question your 50K killed in Iraq although the figure I doubt is even close. Iraq does have oil however I doubt the US will take any of it without paying for it. The US isn't trying to make Iraq a the 51st state.

-if 50 000 civilians are killed in this war estmated 2/3 should be women and children.

Oh now there are 50K civilians not just 50K Iraqis. What's your point? You aren't clear. I seriously doubt what your source is that says the US has killed 50K civilians. Generaly the coalition forces try not to cause the death of civilians, although it does happen.

A coalition bomb targeted at insurgents will kill others in the area and yes it doesn't discriminate between combatants and non combatants. But the intent is not to kill civilians with the bomb.

A insurgent/terrorist bomb in the middle of a market place at peak traffic time is just trying to cause as many casualties as possible. There's no military signifigance in the choice of location. The only consideration is how can we get the bodies of women and children on the news in the US.

-Republicans it is time to face reality. It is not a game anymore.

Who needs to face reality? I think you do. It's not a war game. Never was. You don't want us over there and neither do I. You don't want civilian casualties and neither do I. Now IF you really want us out of there go talk to those 'insurgents' and convince them to quit makeing so many loud noises. You do that and the coalition will be out of there in no time at all. And we won't take the oil with us.

Whats the point of asking a question when you already have an answer. Or is it your just like all the other cattle that line up to be slaughtered. I would say Saddam Hussein. You must be very close to the President to actually know what kind of games he likes playing. So you are saying that the US has killed these 50,000 people. Not the terrorists nor the insurgents. Just the US Military. So all this time we were thinking that it was the Terrorists and Insurgents Setting of all those bombs In Iraq. When all the time it was the US Military. And the US Military personnel that were killed in those bombs. i suppose they were planting them when they Exploded. Brilliant piece of thinking on your part. That's it i am moving to a deserted island. Somewhere out of reach of the US Military People.

Swivel on my index.. finger for half an hour then maybe you might just get some common sense.

Tell that to the insurgent terrorists, are you So Stupid to believe they will spread the wealth, just like Saddam right? He took all the oil profits and built a new palace every year. Oh ya, Saddam also murdered thousands of people from Iraq. What kind of man can do that and what kind of people could do nothing and continue to watch it happen. Weak people, that's who...

Bush, the troops and those who support them, have stayed the course, because WE want this taken care of and do not want to go through it again. I hate war, but sometimes it's necessary. We are there now, this is the best time to make sure it gets done right. Pulling out of Iraq now, will give the terrorists a greater chance of establishing a foot-hole. It will make the efforts, money and resources spent there a complete waste.

We've come this far, lets finish it, but lets finish it correctly.

Please expand on your question and point to reliable sources which define the amount of oil pre and post initiation of the war which has come to the United States from Iraq. I believe that you will find that the answer will belie the foundation of your question.

I'm not a Republican and have never supported either of the Bush Presidents for election. I am also concerned with a number of the actions proposed and initiated by his administration. However, if one desires to alter a political situation it is best to begin with actual, provable facts rather than the unfounded assertion underlying your question.

His name is George W. Bush, and his main accomplices are Richard "Dick" Cheney, George H. W. Bush, Donald Rumsfeld and Condoleezza Rice.

And you are quite right that it is time for Republicans to face the facts. Unfortunately the real number of victims (mostly civilians) is much larger than 50,000 (which is a British estimate). Several independent monitor organisation place the real number between 80,000 and 170,000, not counting US and Coalition military casualties.

It's not about freedom stupid. Those people don't give a rats *** about freedom and they don't want us occuping there country also.It was a political move in the beginning and a easy short term situtation but it was grossly underestimated and turned into a huge mistake both politically and militarially. It got him re-elected in 2004 but it made him the most un popular president ever and Iraq the most un-popular war in all of United States history.

I wish y'all would tell me where all this oil is. Why are gas prices so high if we went there for oil? Where is the oil?
Last winter when heating oil prices were so high alot of folks couldn't heat their homes, where was this Iraqi oil we are meant to be plundering.

A question like this one is an insult to the troops in Iraq and a slap in the face to those families of men and women who have died in this war. Quite frankly, this sort of rubbish makes me sick.

Only someone or better, only those who avoided military duty at all cost. Stephen Colbert said it right when he told Bush in front of a room of people that is easy to stand on a bank of computers and order men into battle.

Saddam Hussein took the whole of Kuwait in order to take oil. God knows how many he and his people killed in Kuwait and in Iraq too - was it chemical bombs against Kurdish population including women and children. Thank God Almighty he is no more.
