I have continual achy legs, arms and tummy. I have difficulting walking and climbing stairs. My Dr says I could have musculoskeletal, or fibromyalgia. I have broken sleep every night with the pain. Nothing I have tried has even made it less aggravating. I dont want to rely on pain killers every day so need an alternative way of dealing with it. I am on warfarin so am not allowed to take herbal remedies as it affects the warfarin.

It may sound very obvious but have you tried discussing this with your doctor?

S/he may have some suggestions for you. If you are on warfarin, I presume you are also seeing a specialist. If so, perhaps s/he can help you.

However, there are some interesting points on Wikipedia - it may help you understand a little about what is wrong with you and how to help yourself.

I looked on the web and found any number of sites that may be able to help you:

the Fibromyalgia Network
Educational materials on fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), such as coping techniques, treatments, research studies, medical journal listings, and more.

Arthritis Research Campaign | Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is a type of rheumatism which affects the muscles and ligaments but not the joints. It will not cause permanent damage but it will last for months or years. ... This booklet is written for people with fibromyalgia and their families and friends. It explains how fibromyalgia affects people in different ways, and how doctors diagnose it ...

I hope you soon get a good night's sleep!

I will suggest something which will take care of warfarin action too.

Before breakfast, take 2 cups water (each cup 100 ml) add 1/2 tsp dry ginger powder, 1 tsp anantmul powder, 1/2 tsp rasna powder, 1/2 tsp Guduchi (giloy) powder and boil slow fire till 1/2 cup remains. Drink when lookwarm after straining. If you get only ginger powder, still OK. But then take warfarin leaving 1 hour gap between herbal and warfarin.

The above suggestion contains anti-coagulant action, pain reliever action and blood purifying action too, to relieve fibromyalgia and arthritis like pains.

In case making decoction and powders difficult:
after lunch and dinner take 2 Tabs of Rasna Guggulu, 2 Tabs of Shilajit Rasayan, 2 Tabs of Hridyarnav Ras, all slight chew and swallow with water. All tabs available online.

To reduce aches faster you can try epsom salt sponge also:
1 pint hot water add 1 Oz epsom salt, sponge whole body everyday. This relieves pain in 10-15 minutes only.

About 4 months ago a friend of mine introduce me to a new vitamin drink called Vemma. I was always in pain. My back, legs, shoulder etc. I started taken this juice drink once daily. Every morning before work. It took it for about 1 month before it started showing signs that it was actually working. But now I don't think I could live without it. Go to , myvemma.com for more information.
