I want to understand how these reactions take place....how plants are able to take in energy from sunlight?

atp changes to adp and vice versa in plants by the process named phosphorylation and dephosphorylation.in phosphorylation adp+inorganic phosphate to form atp.but in de phosphorylation atp undergo cleavage and form adp+pi.this is the key process in plant photo synthesis and animal metabolism.
