Tales of the Riverbank with Hammy Hamster, GP and Martha the Mouse. I can't remember whether Martha was in the British series or just in the Canadian revival.

Yes! That use to be on CBBC when I was younger! I loved all the old kids TV programmes, so much better than some of the current rubbish that's being broadcast..

OH MY GOD - THANK YOU
(I loved it, thanks for reminding me)

How sad is it that at 23 years old I still remember a song he once sang.

"Its not surprising sheep are sleepy, sheep are sleepy 'cos they're warm...
If sheep are sleepy 'cos they're warm, the sleepy sheep should be sheared and shorn"

Brilliant stuff. What was his lady friend called...? I think she rode a bicycle!

UPDATE: Just visited the website Tigger 2000 suggested and its brilliant. The woman's name was Iris and it also reminded me that everything the owl said sounded the same "twoo twoo, twit twit twoo"

Awesome stuff!!
