I can open mail.com and anyother website at the same time but when I try to open hotmail I cant open another without hotmail first closing down. Any help would be nice.

Just hit CTRL + N. That will open a new window for you. Or you can just go to File and then to New and Window.

try going to the top[ of your browser and click "file" and then "new window" hotmail may not let you becsuse it doesnt want to have to moniter your email on two different screens

You can launch Internet explorer any number of time, it works independently..
