You were put on this earth for a reason and it was not for racism. So heres some words of advise,"do something with your self."

Laziness, pure and simple. It takes some effort and loss of ego to control one's basic instincts and act civilized. It's easier to think and behave aggressively and fearfully than it is to reach out with compassion and understanding.

I think because we are so different culturally we, as a society, are more unaccepting of each other. The way we act, they way we talk, walk, dress, and even think are very different. There are other reasons like the continual propagation of hate. There is a social mechanism at work here - we fear what we do not know (about others) and act accordingly. I believe that those who clearly show themselves as racist probably fear the opposite culture the most. So where does that leave us? Your question implies that there is hope. This is the dawn of a new age and we are at the beginning; the genesis if you will. With some luck, humans will evolve and a thousand years from now racism against all groups will have come to an end.

I would like racism to be over but the fact is it's not. What is 36 years if your talking about age then you would say that person is young. 36 years is not that long ago. Thats not even enough time for one generation to grow. I don't know how a person could think less of a person because of their skin. But it happens because of steorotypes and society. It's always going to be like this. It might get a little better if parents teach their children to disregard steorotypes and treat the other person no matter the race how they would want to be treated. I love my race. But I don't assume that everyone is good or bad in my race. I know that there are different types of people in all races. Ex. I'm blac from the ghetto, people assume that I have to be a certain way. But they are shocked when I say my favorite band is Creed or that I listen to Incubus and Staind. What people don't understand is that skeptical way of thinking leads to racism. No matter what you do or where you are people are trying to prove a stereotype wrong or right. Itis a big deal becuase black, jews, indians, spanish people ae steal getting treated like they a less. Especially blacks, we never got our 40acres and a mule yet. Racism is still here so because I don't want it to not be here I will dismiss that facts. It will be apart of my life no matter what. Because in some people mind they think that blacks, jews, indians, spanish, iraqis are a certain way.

OVER! 36 YEARS AGO. The problems during the whole 20th Century were about racism. European Racism set in train a course of events we are still having to deal with. Anti-semitism in the early part of the century caused the pogroms which caused wave upon wave of European immigrants to leave Europe. NAZI eugenics caused the MURDER of over five and a half million Jews. A number which pales into insignificance when put against the near 50, (yes fifty) million deaths caused by Stalin. Jewish settlement in Palestine was a result of European racism, and the people of Palestine are still paying the cost. Now.......

The BLACK v WHITE thing. Pure parochialism, tribalism of the worst kind, the same thing that causes soccer hooliganism. We do not educate our young properly, the system just seems to tar them with the basics and then we fling the feathers of knowledge in the hope some will stick. We do not show respect to one another, and we teach our young to be the same. We have no respect for the law and let our young know it.

I think some people aren't happy unless they have a cause to complain. They are constantly looking for reasons to explain why they live like they live or do not have the things they want. We as a people have a hard time admitting that some things are our own fault and no one elses. We are supposed work for what we want out of life. I personally haven't seen any inequality.

Racism happens because of bizzare beliefs, being afraid they could get over powered, because they are different which makes them worse than some, and many more. I've seen anti semitist Jews lol.

As long as it pays to be a victim of rascism...
you will have people playing the rascism card...every chance they get.

Just as - as long as it pays to be unemployed...you'll have people collecting welfare...dressing like "Trump".
