The Kitchen!
I am a kitchen sitter from way back...
My Grandmother always entertained in the kitchen, because its the warmest room in the house.
Always good smells, as some thing is cooking, and the table is a good setting for chewing the food as well as chewing the fat!
I always tell everyone, that I am a kitchen sitter, if I entertain them in the living room, its the room closest to the door, and they are on thier way out...;) LOL!!
Besides, my computer desk is in there, and the wife always knows where I am. If not, then I am either in the basement working on wood projects, or some place else.
I wish you well..

Each room in my house has meaning and considered favorites. I love to stay in living room, it's a place where I received and entertained friends. So sitting there, reminds me of them... I love the dining room because it's the place where we share meals, this is the place where your hunger is sustain. I love my bedroom too, it's my sanctuary... a place to relax, to dream, and lull around. And the kitchen holds it's own charm, for someone like me who likes to bake cookies and cakes...the kitchen is a haven when the air is filled with freshly baked yummy goodies. I don't like much my bathroom, I don't have a bath tub, it would have made a difference if there's a bathtub...where you could just lay down and relax your tired body in warm bubble bath...hehehe.

The Library - we turned our 4 foot by 11 foot box room into a library, complete with solid pine shelves, leather chairs, our entire collection of books and the kind of certificates on the wall that make us look intelligent. Now we sup champagne in there on a weekend and best of all... it's a child free zone!

The first class lounge where there is a fireplace, plasma TV, Persian rug, and lots more in the heart of a mansion down in Beverly Hills. He he he, this is my dream house that never exist yet! I wished that I could live beside Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's house there!

My bedroom! I have 6 huge floor to ceiling windows that overlook the backyard which is heavily wooded and backs up to a creek(relatively large one). I am sitting on stilts and I feel competely in the air - I can see thuderstorms roll in and out, I wake up to the sun warming my face, my cat Pippi loves to watch the birds and bunnies that are outside, she can't get them but it is funny to watch her dart back and forth between windows.. Since the windows are high off the ground, from the outside they are kinda spider-webby, but it makes it interesting to see huge spider-webs spanning the space between the windows... all in all I love it! I have seen a hawk perched on one of the fence posts and during the winter the trees ice over, unlucky for my neighbor - but I saw a pine snap and fall on his fence but I have to say my bedroom is the best!

The bedroom, it is a place of joy, yet a place of rest, but, takes less cleaning than any other room.
