By ordinary I mean office workers, retail system workers, etc..Can you say that height is the important criteria for women when they are recruited?

Although most will not admit it, many people hire based on their prejudices or first impressions. If you are too tall or too short it can hinder your ability to get a job. This is more true for men than for women. Rather than get an attitude about it, though, just work hard at getting the job and then work hard once you are hired. When you are in the door, then you can prove yourself.

I am 4 ft and 11 inches tall and I have not yet experienced any height-related descrimination in my job here in the Philippines.

No because that is discrimination and a lot of people get by with it but not most of them. We are not supposed to judge people. And if they get caught doing it they will be prosecuted. Because that is against the law to discriminate.

NO it should not how tall r u....... i tried to get a job at loomis fargo 5 years ago..... they told me i couldn't get the job b cuz i was to tall.............
