I have missed two of my contraceptive pills. And have now started my second period this month today. Shall I carry on taking my pill while I am on again?

I would take them again but you need to be careful and use other methods of protection until you've had a week back on the pill. Another tip, what about a coil, mirena coil, it releases progesterone so you won't forget to take your pill again. Bit undignified at first but I wouldn't look back.

You have two options here:

1. You can continue to keep taking them, which will most likely stop your period... but I will warn you, I used to do this ALL the time.. I'd forget 2 pills, get my period, then start taking them again and my period would stop.. but lately when I try and do it, it makes it 10x worse! If I try to do it now, it makes me period alot heavier and about 2 weeks long!! Opposed to my normal 5 days long.

Or 2. You can just let your period finish out and start a new pack.

It's up to you... My opinion, if you've never stopped your period with b/c pills before, you could try it, it would most likely work.
Just don't do it too often. And when you miss pills, even if you get your period or not, you should be using other forms of birth control like condoms for at least a week.

Hope this helps.

It all depends on what week of the pills you missed:
1. If you missed the first two pills of a brand new pack, take 2 pills as soon as you remember then continue taking one pill per day as usual-Use a backup method for birth control for two weeks.
2. If you missed any two pills in a row during the first two weeks, take the two pills on the day you remember and two pills the next day. continue taking one pill a day as usual.Use a back-up method of birth control for one week.
3. If you missed two pills in a row in the third week and
You are a Sunday Start(you always start your pill packs on sunday), Keep taking one pill per day until sunday. On Sunday, throw away the old pack and start taking a brand new pack. Use a backup method of birth control for two weeks.
4. If you missed any of the pills in the last week, skip the ones you missed, but be sure to start a new pack on time

Why do you need pills?

A simple home remedy takes care!

From day 1 to 10 (only for 10 days), take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder in 1 tbsp honey, empty stomach early morning and enjoy tension free for entire month.

This is oriental contraceptive used by tribals for centuries!

yes, just keep taking them, period will probably be shorter.
Use additional contraception until after you have finished this packet and had your 'normal' break. No harm has been done apart from higher risk of contraceptive failing.
