It is rare for a World Cup to take place without an unfancied team doing well. I recall Croatia (1998) and South Korea (2002) over-achieving during the last two tournaments. I can see Australia being this year's surprise package.
I look forward to the remainder of the World Cup, and seeing how the rest of the tournament pans out.

I think they can beat Italy. They need to put Schwarzer back in goal and play Bresciano from the start. Also Viduka, Kewell and Aloisi need to be at the top of their game. They need to make sure they are tight in defense and I believe they have as much chance of scoring as Italy do. Good luck Australia.

austrailia is playing quit well we can't count them out .hopefully Italy will not feel intinitaded and play the way they dud with the US...a game that they should of won instead if giving an own goal to the opposing team.I think Italy is a good tem but we should learn from the outcomes of other games anything is possible
