The new Intel 975 x motherboard will support conroe, but only with the rev 304. Almost all of the vendors selling the motherboards sell rev 302. The 304 was release in April but most vendors don't have it yet or are trying to get rid of the 302. Chech for sure before you buy.

until now there are still no mobo support intel conroe .they expected to lunch in july and motherboard that support conroe will come out that time tooo

find out what CPU pin type the motherboard needs and go from there
