I think it is because pens are the eggs of coat hangers and hatch out durring the night

pens disappear as everyone needs or wants one and the never find their way back. as for the hangers. you take clothes off each day until the end of the week when you do laundry. it will look empty until you wash them and hang the clothes back up. not to mention when you have clothes done at the cleaners you gain more hangers. when you buy them from stores you get more that way also. but some you put in drawers so it appears you have more when you don't.

pens disappear because they are most commonly used by everyone,and usually a person walks away with the pen,because they are busy thinking about what they have just wrote....
Coat hangers only increase if you wear clean clothes..

We are always getting coat hangers from places such as the cleaners and department stores etc.. As for your pens, I think you should keep an eye on your friends and co-workers and tell them to stop stealing them.

nope ive looked in to this and its the goblins that only come out at night they work like the tooth fairy and take away pens and leave coat hangers

my welsh dresser drawer is the biro-relocation centre for the south of england. thats where all your pens have gone. which might go a way to explaining why i never have a coat hanger when i need one.

people use pens and lighters and pocket them.Not purposefully...your not surrounded by a bunch of thieves,it's just habit.>>>>>>>Every time you go to the cleaners and retrieve your clothes.You keep the hangers.So over time the hangers accumulate.

lol! no its cuz pens get stolen and you take ur clothes off the hanger so it appears that tere are more of them...
