Yes and its really freaky the first time you see it. I went to New Zealand and couldnt beleive that water went down the plug hole of a sink the other way.

Its not something you think of or are aware of until you see it for youself.

NO. According to Discovery's Mythbuster, a show that proves and disproves urban myths, have proved that the spin of water in north and south pole are not different. They have came to a conclusion that the direction of the water being flushed is affected by the shaped of the bowl and damages on the sides of the bowl not whether on your position the planet.

scientifically speaking, it's something about earth magnetic, i dont remember.

put it this way, imagine the water going down in 1 direction, it will be still in that direction when GOING UP the other side of the earth, it means on the other side of the earth, if water want to go down, it must go in different direction.

no it is not true because it only depends on which side the flush applies force. also water does not have any magnetic properties.
